I'm so happy.
I finally got my brand new piano book!!! Yay --- "You're the Inspiration" !!!!!
Plus, it has a whole bunch of other songs including "Close to You" which Thomas is bugging me about 24-7.
I took my Dad's car to piano and he only has cassette player so I brought 80s tapes. It's love fest, I tellsya I should've been an 80s child!! it would've been so fun. Shoulder pads are SO cool!
The 80s was a time of "innocent rebellion", when being "gay" still meant you were happy, when having big hair was cool!
There were songs like pride (in the name of love), power of love, addicted to love, what's love got to do with it. LOVE LOVE LOVE, all about love.
It's not today where you sing about how your life is so crap, you cheated on your girlfriend and now you're sorry or how you have to be a prostitute to feed your son - whose father is on drugs etc. etc.
