"In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." Albert Einstein
I have just discovered, I don't know everything.
Most of the time, I like to give up. In Duke of Ed, the 18km walk killed me. Like, I was dead after 2km but I had no choice. I wanted to give up soooo bad and if I had the chance, I would've taken it. No questions.
So I'm going to do it again to build character.
Anyway, I HATE it when people tell me what to do because they think they're smarter than me just because they're older than me and therefore know what's better for me. BUT, I have to admit, sometimes, they CAN be right.
I just wanted to share that with you. For you to just keep that in mind when you have an argument with your parents or something.
OH and another moral: Don't give up
I used to think I knew everything. It sux that now, I realise that I'm not as smart as I thought I was. My older cousins talk about how much they regret not listening to their parents and in my family, parents, aunts, uncles, etc. etc. (everyone in my WHOLE family shouts their opinion from the rooftops) and my cousins say how, at my age they thought they knew everything and I was like "psht, I'm not that dumb".
And what do you know? I am.
